Today the agreement on the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan is further developed. This is evidenced by the round table held jointly with the head of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kazakhstan, the staff of the National Library and the teaching staff of the Department of Indology, of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farab dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the independence of Pakistan , the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, as well as the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, philosopher, spiritual leader of Pakistan the camp of Allam Mohammad Iqbal.
Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to create a joint Russian-Kazakh research centers on the basis of regional institutions of higher education, as he stated at the 14th forum of interregional cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan.
On the eve of the Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, a delegation of al-Farabi KazNU led by rector academician G.Mutanov visited the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation. Here, on the ancient routes of the Silk Road, from 1911 to 1915, the first Kazakh magazine "AIKAP" was printed.
