18th competition on knowledge of the Korean language
18th competition on knowledge of the Korean language, devoted to the 50 anniversary of Institute of the Korean language (Republic of Korea)
On September, 27th, 2009 Department of Korean Studies Oriental Studies Faculty together with University Yonse (Republic of Korea) has organized 18th annual competition on knowledge of the Korean language abroad in the form of a writing of compositions on the set theme. Competition of 2009 is devoted 50-year-old anniversary of the basis of Institute of the Korean language.
Students of the Korean branch have taken part in competition Treasury of al-Farabi 2, 3 and 4 courses. Total 60 persons. Volunteers of the Korean organization also took part in the competition organization on the international cooperation (KOICA), as observers over observance of requirements of competition representatives of the Kazakh University of the international relations and world languages of a name of Abylajhana worked.
Themes of compositions have been declared at ten o'clock. Competition has terminated at 12 o'clock. Compositions have been sealed in a post envelope and with participation of observers have been sent in University Yonse. Results of competition will be received by Day of the Korean language – on October, 9th, 2009.
All participants of competition, and also organizers have received memorable gifts from University Yonse.
