COOPERATION OF DEPARTMENT OF KOREAN STUDIES OUT OF CONTRACTS
In the beginning of the second semester the chair department of Korean Studies had possibility productively to meet professors and students of one of the Korean universities of Republic Korea – Kyung Hee University. The university delegation consisted of two professors and 18 students of a bachelor degree.
The professor of chair of Russian, the director of the Center of the Eurasian researches, Ph. D Se-Eun Kwon, and also the professor, Head of Department of the Korean language, the director of the Center Korean Studies Kyung Hee University, Ph. D Sun-Yi Lee. Whether have arrived to our university for the purpose of discussion of prospects of cooperation within the limits of the program «Creation of textbooks for Korean specialties at universities of the Central Asia».
This project has been offered the chair Department of Korean Studies as executors. It was offered to chair to do work on comparison of curricula on chair specialties in Treasury of al-Farabi, high schools of the Central Asia and Korea and to take part in working out of textbooks and manuals in the Kazakh, Korean and Russian languages. Project realization is supposed within next ten years. As a result of long discussion of problems of chair Korean Studies during the modern period, its methodical security the decision to take part in the project was accepted. The working plan for the nearest period has been made, the basic priorities of the initial stage of work are defined.
Other direction of stay of delegation of Kyung Hee University were informative lectures of the professor of Department of Korean Studies Kim German N. about Kazakhstan. In lectures modern social and economic and political development of Kazakhstan, the basic ways of cooperation of Kazakhstan with Republic Korea have been considered.
