The Chair of Biomed Statistics held a cycle of advanced training on "Topical issues of public health". The specialists of the Public Health Committee of the Kyzylorda Oblast took part in the cycle. Issues related to the development of the public health service in the context of its reform, as well as public health, the basis for the formation of public health policies, the main issues of prevention, the methods of studying the health of the population, depending on environmental conditions, industrial, domestic and socio-economic factors.During the course, the trainees received skills in analyzing medical and demographic indicators in public health, identifying the causes of pathological conditions and diseases in the population, and identifying the main risk factors for health.
