Results of the "1st Kazakhstan Olympiad on Hygiene and Epidemiology"

On April 10, 2018, the third round was held and the results of the 1st Kazakhstan Olympiad on Hygiene and Epidemiology were summed up. In the third round, 6 students participated.
The jury heard the scientific reports of the participants:
1. Amangeldinova Damira, a 4th-year student of the specialty OZ of the GMU of Semey. Topic:
"Comparative approach to the teaching process in secondary schools and the gymnasium of the city of Semey."
2. Urumzhanova Sambat, a fourth-year student of the OZ, GMU of Semey. Topic: "Studying the actual nutrition and nutritional status of students".
3. Shlumbaev Nurlan, a 5th year student of the OZ, KSMU of Karaganda. Theme of the report: "Hygienic aspects of working conditions of workers of the mining industry".
4. Bainazarova Ainur, a fifth-year student of the Oz S.Z. Asfendiyarov KazNMU.. Theme of the report: "Evaluation of the influence of nutrition on the medical conditions of medical students".
5. Qadir Akerke, a fourth year student of the Oz Al-Farabi KazNU.. The theme of the report is "Actual problems of immunization of infectious diseases in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
6. Shykhyskhan Aizhan, a fourth-year student of the Oz Al-Farabi KazNU. Theme of the report: "Assessment of the incidence of tuberculosis in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
On 3rd round I took 1st place Shlyumbaev Nurlan.
Results of the 3-round:

2. Kadir Akerke - 55.52 b.
3. Amangeldinov Damir - 52.33 b.
4. Baynazarova Aynur - 50.25 b.
5. Urumzhanova Sambat - 49.56 b.

After the announcement of the results of the contest for the 3rd round, the Organizing Committee of the Olympics calculated the total ball of the participants. He composed:

2. Shlumbaev Nurlan - 107.35 b.
3. Urumzhanova Sambat - 99.78 b.
4. Baynazarova Ainur - 96.5 b.
5. Amangeldinova Damira - 96.2 b.

Winners and participants of the Olympiad were awarded certificates and valuable and memorable gifts. For the participants of the third round, master classes were organized: "Causes and effects of health of the population with environmental factors", trainer G.A. Arynova; "Methods of mapping and statistics in epidemiology" trainer Z.A. Sagiyev. 11.04.2018 10.00-12.00 hours for the participants of the Olympiad organized an excursion to the SPC of sanitary-epidemiological expertise and monitoringOrganizers of the Olympiad, the staff of the Department of Epidemiology and Hygiene thank the leaders of medical universities: State Medical University of Semey, Karaganda State Medical University and S.Z. Asfendiyarov KazNMU, scientific leaders and all participants of the Olympiad.

Acceptance of works - before April 1, 2018.
The selection of the speakers for the conference is determined by the decision of the jury of the Olympiad after the examination of the submitted works for the relevance of the content and correctness of the design ("Rules for the design of scientific publications" can be found at http://www.kaznu.kz/kz/19026/page Olympiads). The jury's decision will be communicated to the participants no later than April 4, 2018.
The III-round of the "1st Kazakhstan Olympiad on Hygiene and Epidemiology" will be held on April 11, 2018 on the basis of the medical faculty of KazNU named after al-Farabi. We wish you success!

In order to identify and support talented students, increase their interest in scientific activities, the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi conducts the 1st Kazakhstan Olympiad on Hygiene and Epidemiology "State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in New Public Health Conditions" among students of 4,5 courses of the specialty "Public Health" (formerly "Medico-preventive case") of medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Olympiad is held in the following subjects: public hygiene, hygiene of children and adolescents, nutrition hygiene, occupational health, epidemiology.
