The Department of Biostatistics and Evidence-Based Medicine - the Higher School of Public Health of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi held a JOURNAL CLUB. Discussions took place in the format "Journal club",in the center of the discussion was an experimental scientific article. The Journal club took place in an informal atmosphere, which facilitated an open conversation.

The I International Conference "Improving the mental health of children and adolescents"

The I International Conference "Improving the mental health of children and adolescents" organized by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Mental Health, the Bilim Foundation and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Care at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held on January 19-20 2018 in Almaty in the walls of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi (KazNU).

On the basis of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, the first International Conference "Strengthening Mental Health of Children and Adolescents" was held on January 19-20, 2018

This conference was organized by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Public Foundation "Bilim Foundation", the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health and the Kazakh National University. al-Farabi (Department of Politics and Health Organization of the Medical Faculty - VShOZ) with the support of the government represented by the Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the RK Z. Baliyeva, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
