RETRAINING, INCREASE QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL COURSES

The first meeting of the club will be held on February 24, 2018 (Saturday) at 14.00 on the 1st floor (the 5-th room) of the Medical Faculty. The duration of the meeting is 1-1.5 hours.

On the eve of the bright holiday Nauryz, which marks not only the spring equinox, but also the renewal of nature, the medical faculty of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi invites you to take part in the discussion of the scientific article “Meta-analysis of the effect of tertiary survey on missed injury rate in trauma patients” at the second meeting of the Journal Club, which will be held on March 17, 2018 (Saturday) at 14.00 on the 1st floor (the 5-th room) of the Medical Faculty. PhD- student in public health specialty Kozhakhmetov Temirkhan will make a report. Department of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation together with the Department of Biomedical Statistics and Evidence Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine - Higher School of Public Health of KazNU named after al-Farabi- - On December 14-15, 2017, the International Seminar on the "Principles of Classification in the Paralympic Sports" was held.

The medical faculty of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi together with the Public Fund "Family Health" on December 9, held a seminar dedicated to the World Diabetes Day. Topic of the seminar «Psychological aspects of the upbringing of children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus». As a speaker, the psychologist Anastasia Belskaya (St. Petersburg) was invited. The seminar was attended by parents of children suffering from type 1 diabetes from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The interest of the audience was caused not only by a professional look at the topic of the seminar, but also by the fact that Anastasia Belskaya has an established diagnosis of "Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus". The main idea of A. Belskoy's speech was the conviction "Diabetes is not a sentence!".

The department of biomedical statistics and evidence medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of KazNU named after al-Farabi together with the Public Fund "Family Health" on December 9, 2017 holds a seminar for parents of children with disabilities with type 1 diabetes on the topic "Psychological aspects of raising children and adolescents with diabetes". 

The medical faculty of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi from December 6-15, 2017, according to the program of attracting foreign specialists, held an international seminar on the topic: "Scientific organization of the educational process" with the invitation of the associate professor of the Asia-Pacific University (Beppu, Japan), the International consultant for technical assistance in assessing the potential of mammological services for various levels of the health care system in Kazakhstan, international coordinator of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Serik Meirmanov.

The department of biomedical statistics and evidence medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of KazNU al-Farabi held an autumn school for residents and doctors of clinical specialties on the theme "Methodology of scientific research in medicine and public health" on November 24-25, 2017. 

Studying the needs and demands on the part of general practitioners and paediatricians, a group of researchers of the Medical Faculty and the request from the Ministry of Health has been defined urgency of increasing knowledge about the differential diagnosis and modern methods of treatment of children in the following areas: acute infections of the gastrointestinal tract, children gastroenterology / hepatology, chronic bowel disease, regurgitation, refusal of food, diagnosis of unclear abdominal pain, liver disease and pancreas a rectum, kidney and urinary tract diseases, congenital pathologies, allergic diseases in children.
