Opening of the audience named after Erbol Shaimerdenov

The opening ceremony of the audience named after the famous poet, publicist, founder of public relations in Kazakhstan Yerbol Shaimerdenov was held at the Journalism Faculty of al-Farabi KazNU.
The ceremony was attended by prominent public figures, media representatives, faculty members, students and young scientists.
The honorary opening ribbon of the modern equipped audience was cut by the Rector of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Academician Galymkair Mutanov and State Prize winner, poet Nurlan Orazalin.
Great help in equipping the audience was provided by the family of E. Shaimerdenov.
At the opening ceremony, the Head of the UNESCO, International Journalism and Media in Society Department, prof. N.T. Shyngyssova enthusiastically noted that the audience, equipped with modern technique, will be especially useful for students studying in the specialty "Public Relations". The audience will always be in demand for many important events with the participation of students, as well as for lectures and meetings with foreign professors.
During the event, colleagues and associates of E. Shaimerdenov told about the place, role and significance of the contribution of this outstanding person to the culture, mass media and language atmosphere of the country. Deputies of the Mazhilis Rahman Alshanov and Zaure Amanzholova, the famous poet Nesipbek Aituly, the famous writer Smagul Elubay and others shared their warm memories of the spiritual figure of the nation.
