The open lesson was attended by teachers and students of the Department of Chinese Studies. In general, the open lesson was devoted to Chinese cuisine and its peculiarities, as well as the symbolic meaning of Chinese cuisine. The open lesson was devoted not only to Chinese food, but also to Chinese food drinks, including tea and alcohol. The types of tea and peculiarities of alcohol, as well as their history are told. Chinese cuisine has been around for centuries. The history of this state is more than three thousand years old. Even in ancient times, the inhabitants of China knew how to cook delicious and quick food. The Chinese believe that food comes from heaven. This is why they have no concept of "help yourself." Food is part of their national culture. The Chinese often gather at a round table. The Chinese, like us, don't put one plate in the middle, share it with everyone, and offer one big meal. Before eating, everyone at the table is given a small cup filled with rice and a double stick, which is called 筷子 in their language. A variety of small dishes are then served at the table. So everyone eats with chopsticks what they want and mixes it with the rice in the cups in front of them. There will be more than a dozen such small dishes. Sometimes, when a small group of people gathers, more than forty names of small dishes are served at the table. In this open lesson, information about these features was given, and the teacher of the Department of Chinese Studies Turbek Murat told a lot of interesting things about Chinese cuisine.
