During May 15-16, 2023, inviting professor of the Department of the Far East of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Lee Byong Jo gave a special online lecture to students from the Department of Korean Studies at Ergiyes University in Turkey. A total of three special lectures were held.

From April 3 to April 7 at KazNU. Al-Farabi, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of the Far East with the support of the Education Center of the Republic of Korea in Almaty will host the «Week of Korean Studies».
