In Japan there is a cult of food. Cooking6 eating is a whole tradition. All over the workd Japanese cusine has become a global trend. Japanese cousine is an intangible6 cultural value. As part of the week of Japanese Studies at the Department of the Far East, students from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies together with students from the Department of Japanese Studies held a master class of Japanese cuisine. The students prepared videos about Japanese traditional cuisine, about Japanese dished. The students of the Department also introduced the Japanese students to Kazakh cuisine. After the videos, the students prepared onigiri together. The master-class was very informative and delicious.
