On March 16, the Oriental Science Club held a live Instagram conversation with a 5th year doctoral student of the University of Warsaw, Linda Masalska.

At the Faculty of Oriental Studies, under the guidance of teachers of the Japanese Department Ninomiya T., Saudanbekov Sh.T., Borankulova S.K., Nurelova A.M., Shadayeva M.T. Tazabekova G.B. the international scientific student forum "INCLUSIVE SYSTEM OF EDUCATION IN KAZAKHSTAN AND JAPAN" was held. 

The First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Culture and Information, Mr. Yuya Kinoshita, specially visited and held a meeting with teachers of the department, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of the Far East of the Japanese Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

2nd year doctoral student of the Department of the Far East Ismailova Saule completed the course and received a certificate from Sungkyunkwan University - A Bridge to the World: Korean Language for Advanced Ⅰ on the Coursera platform. 

As part of the winter school program, students from the universities of Tsukuba and Keio, together with teachers and students of the Department of the Far East, Department of Japanese Studies, went on an educational excursion to Tanbaly Tas on February 26, 2023.

As part of the week of Japanese culture at the Faculty of Oriental Studies was held the international student forum “Kazakhstan and Japan. Cultural Attitude".
