On December 2-9, 2020, in the city of Taldykorgan, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among youth national teams of regions and the cities of Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Almaty in basketball was held. Students of the specialty "Physical culture and sports" of the 4th year Zinabdin Altynshash and the 1st year students of Tursynova Lyazzat won the first place in the youth team of the Almaty region.
