From July 8 to July 14, 2019, in the Ukrainian city of Odessa, the 23rd Boxing Cup in memory of Semyon Trestin was held. Semen Tresin - the legendary Odessa boxer, winner of the European Oscar in 1966. Boxers from 16 countries took part in the competition. At these competitions, the 3rd year student of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Abdykadir Damir won the gold medal in the 52 kg weight category.
