On October 18, 2018, the Asian Fencing Championship among participants under 23 years old was held in Manila (Philippines), where a 3-year student of the specialty “Physical Culture and Sport” Sertay Erlik was awarded a gold medal in the team competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan in fencing.
