On October 18, 2018, the Asian Fencing Championship among participants under 23 years old was held in Manila (Philippines), where female students of the specialty Physical Culture and Sport 3 course Dzhakupova Dayan and 1 course Dospai Karina won the gold medal in the team fencing competition.
