August 25, 2018 at the Asian Games - 2018 the national team of the RK swimming won a bronze medal. The Kazakhstani four were represented by Adilbek Musin, Adil Kaskabay, Dmitry Balandin and Alexander Varakin. Adilbek Musin - 2nd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of KazNU. al-Farabi, also taking part in the 50 meters distance butterfly won the bronze medal in the individual competition.
