The largest amateur sport festival in Central Asia was held - the international seventh Almaty Marathon.
This year "Almaty Marathon" gathered more than 14 thousand runners from 38 countries. New routes, new routes
The track was divided into the distance: 3 km (children 10-14 years), 10 km, 21.1 km (half marathon) and 42.2 (marathon) and 10 km step in Scandinavian walking. Students of KazNU named after al-Farabi, specialty of FC & S, took part in this grandiose event.
Absolute winners of the 21 kilometer distance became Amangos Islam (4 year FKiS) with the result 1:13:50 and Mamazhanova Zhanna (master's degree of FKiS) with the result 1:26:11.
At a distance of 10 kilometers the winner was a student of the first year of FCCC - Saunina Svetlana, her result - 42:29. It should be noted that Mamazhanova Zhanna - three-time champion of Almaty-marathon at a distance of 21 kilometers. Congratulations to our champions, we wish new victories and achievements!
