On March 2, 2021, at the age of 65, an outstanding surgeon, a talented scientist, doctor of medical sciences, professor of the Department of Clinical Specialties of the Higher School of Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of the KazNU named after V.I. al-Farabi Mukanov Marat Umirbekovich. He devoted his entire adult life to saving patients and training young professionals, and also made an enormous contribution to the development of science.

On February 28, 2021, a professional boxing evening organized by MTK Kazakhstan was held in Almaty.

As a result of the welterweight fight, the 4th year student of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare Tlebay Nurdos became the owner of the professional boxing belt.

On February 27, 2021, the international boxing tournament in memory of the master of sports of the USSR Alexander Asaulenko ended in the city of Krivoy Rog (Ukraine).

The gold winner of the ring in the weight category of 52 kg became a 4th year student of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Faculty of Medicine and Health

Streetball is a kind of basketball, also called street basketball. The difference between streetball and basketball is the number of players in the team (3 × 3, 1 player in the reserve) and only one ring. You can play not only in the warm season, but also in the cold season.

On January 21, 2021, the so-called "cold games" in streetball took place in the city of Almaty, where the 4th year student of the FMZ department of the FCS Ibraeva Rizat took 1st place in the team competition.

The Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the Almaty region with the support of the NOC RK from 20 to 28 December 2020. 

Musin Adilbek - 3rd year student in the specialty "Physical culture and sports", master of sports of international class in swimming, two-time bronze medalist of the Asian Games 2018, finalist of the World Championship among youth, multiple medalist of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cup of Kazakhstan, winner and prize-winner of international competitions, absolute record holder of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the discipline "Butterfly".

On December 25, 2020, in honor of the celebration of the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker Abu Nasyr al-Farabi, the scientific Round Table "Peace of Al-Farabi" was organized for students.

The purpose of the Round Table was to familiarize students with the biography, work of the scientist-thinker, philosopher Al-Farabi and the concept of his scientific heritage.
