On April 10, 2024, the delegation of Al-Farabi KazNU, consisting of the director of the scientific and educational center "Digital Technologies and Robotics", academician Zh.Zh. Baygunchekov. and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Doszhan N.S. visited the Institute of Automation of the Shandong Academy of Sciences (SDIA) and Qilu University of Technology, Jinan, China. As part of this visit, the opening ceremony of the joint laboratory "Joint laboratory for Robotics and Intelligent Control Research" was held and a cooperation agreement was signed between the Faculty of Electronics, Electrical and Control Engineering from Qilu University of technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) and the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Al-Farabi KazNU. It is planned that this laboratory will operate both in China and within the walls of our university. As part of the research work of this laboratory, it is planned to submit applications for funding of joint scientific projects to government

On April 5, young scientists from our department took part in a meeting with the rector. On the eve of Scientists Day, acting Director of the Department of Science and Innovation Margulan Ibraimov made a report at a meeting of young scientists of our university. 

Master students of the 1st year of the educational programme "7M05404 - Mechanics" Alakova A.S., Baizakova A.M., Zhumabaeva T.A. held an open event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vasily Antonovich Sapa on the theme "The centenary of Vasily Antonovich Sapa: Life marked by time".

The faculty and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics were invited to the event.

Within the framework of pedagogical practice, a 1st-year doctoral student of the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specialty "Robotic Systems" D.M. Uypalakova, A.I. Akzholova, B.A. Talpakova conducted in 04.04.2024 an educational lesson on the topic "Сlean water and sanitation".

The Sustainable Development Goals are global goals adopted to protect the globe and maintain peace. The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals will work towards the implementation of 17 goals.

Within the framework of pedagogical practice in 29.03.2024 doctoral student of the 1st year of the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, specialty Robotics Systems Suleimenov M. K. conducted an educational lesson on the topic of one of the 17 sustainable development goals «Sustainable Cities and Settlements».

On Marth 27, 2024, the third meeting of the city scientific seminar “Modern problems of Applied and Computational Mathematics” was held at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

In the period from March 14 to March 23, the decade of Nauryznam was announced, dedicated to the celebration of the national holiday. This decade is aimed at forming new traditions of celebrating our native holiday, revealing the best human qualities – openness, sincerity, responsiveness, benevolence. Each day was dedicated to a specific topic and had a deep content-meaning.

Our people have a wonderful saying that means that young people should be helped, and not put a spoke in their wheels. For this purpose, seminars are held with masters and doctoral students of the faculty under the guidance of faculty teachers. On March 11, at the seminar organized by Dosmagulova Karlygash and Shakir Aidos, the following master's and doctoral students of the faculty Artykbaeva Zhanar “Asymptotical behavior of solutions of boundary value problems for singularly perturbed equations”, Dauletbay Bekarys “Delta-shaped perturbations of the Laplace operator and their spectral analysis”, Iskakov Alibek “ Primitive recursive reduction." In addition, a seminar by Kanguzhin Baltabek and Koshanov Bakytbek is taking place.

2nd year doctoral student of the Department of Computational Sciences and Statistics Marat Gauhar, under the guidance of Professor Julien Berger, completed a research internship at the LaSIE Laboratory of the University of La Rochelle, La Rochelle, France, from January 4 to February 17.

As part of the teaching practice of first-year master's students of the specialty "Mechanics and Energy" Mutalipova Kamila and Toktarova Aizhan held an open lesson for 2nd-year undergraduate students of the specialty "Mechanics" on the topic "Theater Etiquette". At the lecture, the etiquette of visiting the theater was discussed in detail, and brochures with brief instructions on the rules of conduct in public places were also distributed.
