Professor of University of Algarve, Ph.D. H.B. de Oliveira (Portugal) visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on February 19-24 as part of the scientific project AP19676624 “Navier-Stokes-Voigt models describing the motion of homogeneous and inhomogeneous non-Newtonian fluids.”
From January 15 to February 14, at the invitation of the University of Poitiers in France, doctoral students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Shakir Aidos and Murat Mukhambetkaliyev went on a scientific internship abroad.
During the pedagogical practice, first-year doctoral students from the Mechanics Department organized a seminar titled "From Idea to Business," aimed at providing training to stimulate the development of student entrepreneurship and attract business representatives. On February 22, 2024, Professor SAKURAI TAKEAKI of the University of Tsukuba visited the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The purpose of the professor’s visit is to see and study the readiness of the faculties to host the 10th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Campus project on the Campus.
