Meeting with Turkish writer, translator Ashur Ozdemir

At the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting was held with Turkish writer, translator, PhD doctor Ashur Ozdemir. The meeting was attended by teachers of the UNESCO Chair in Journalism and Communication, undergraduates and students. Ashur Ozdemir translated more than two hundred stories of Kazakh writers into Turkish. The translated stories were published as a small book in 2006 called The Blue Storm. The meeting was held in a free format, the participants asked questions about the problems of translating the works of our classic writers into Turkish.
