On February 19, 2021 at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages the event called "Knowing Abai is our duty" was organized by teachers Azimbaeva I.K. and Musaly L.Zh. within the framework of the project "Ainalandy nurlandyr" among the 2nd year students in the specialty "Foreign Philology"on the Zoom platform. Students have read poems of the great Abai, moreover, educational videos and presentation were shown. Participants answered test questions and actively took part in the event.

The Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of the Faculty of  Philology and World Languages and 2nd and 3rd year students organized the informative event "Library is a journey to knowledge", which will be held in the framework of the project "Ainalandy nurlandyr."

On February 17, 2021, on the basis of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages ​​on the Zoom platform, was organized an information and educational event as “The Place of Religion in Society” by adviser R.A. Torekhanova within the framework of the project “Ainalady Nurlandyr” among 2nd year students  of the specialty "Translation Studies".

At the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University there was another lecture within the project: “Professor hour”. The professor of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, the doctor of philological sciences, Temirgali Orazgaliyevich Yessembekov delivered the lecture. The lecture topic was: “The bases of philological text analysis”.

Teachers of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the competition: Makatayev’s readings: «My poems will live forever,..» which took place in Almaty. It was organized by the Center for gifted children and talented youth: “Almaty Daryny" and the Department of Education Almaty city and was supported by Akimat of Almaty City according to the message of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev «Course towards the future: spiritual rebirth».
