On January 26, 2023 at the 409 conference room of the scientific library of al-Farabi Kazakh National University an international round-table in a hybrid format "Interdisciplinary research of natural processes: reality and prospects", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Associate Professor of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a specialist in the field of genetics and biostatistics, co-author of the first republican tests on biology Biyasheva Zarema Maratovna took place.

(Russia), Chief Researcher of the Laboratory of Population Genetics, Institute of Genetics and Physiology Dzhansugurova L.B., Head of the Laboratory of Ecological Biotechnology of the Research Institute of Environmental Problems Boguspaev K.K. 3rd year doctoral student Geniyevskaya Yu.A., specialty 8D05101-Biology, employee of the laboratory of molecular genetics, Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, spoke on behalf of young scientists with the report “Identification of SNP markers associated with quality traits of barley grain grown in Kazakhstan.” In addition to the speakers and representatives of the departments of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, the hero of the day was congratulated by d.b.s., Professor, Head of the Research Group "Genotoxicology", N.I.
