This week in the house of students №7 of the faculty of biology and biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University advisors of the Department of molecular biology and genetics held a preventive meeting with 1st year students dedicated to legal education of students and prevention of offenсes and crimes.

Purpose of the meeting is to note the spiritual and moral development of students in the framework of the academic policy and rules of honor of KazNU students.

Advisors exchanged information with students about the causes of various offences in society and the measures taken to prevent them. They noted that students should not miss classes without reason, follow the academic discipline and the code of honor of the student.

In addition, at the university and faculty level, it is important not to get on the board of shame. Students and teachers who took part in the meeting received comprehensive answers to their questions.

On March 4, 2014 at the second Hall of School Biology and Biotechnology, a celebration fest "Әйел өмірдің нұры" , organized by the 1st and 3rd year students of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics took place.

Advisors actively meet with students during the discussion of issues related to science or educational processes, both inside and outside the university. Adviser Zhunusbaeva Zh.K. with first-year students of student groups she's supervising, in academic year 2013-2014 school year visited museum of biology, KazNU and the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan.

On March 10, 2013 adviser of groups ECO-107Kand ECO-108K Shimshikov B.E. together with students and faculty visited M.U. Lermontov Drama theater's performance "Pajamas at six".

On February 20, 2013 students of the faculty of Biology and Biotechnology (Group 1208, 1 course, specialty "Biotechnology") participated in the presentation of the book the young Kazakh writer G. Kiy "Lost Code," which was held at the bookstore "Meloman". At the presentation, held at the creative environment, attended by journalists from different massmedia in our city, famous politicians, artists and friends of the author. All speakers praised the work is the author and wished further success. Student MamirovaAigerim took part in the discussion, expressed her opinion on the book, ask her questions. Such meetings are important for the spiritual and moral education of students, developed an interest to literature.
