In order to improve the teaching of Oriental languages, reveal the creative abilities of students, create conditions for self-realization and self-affirmation, support the most talented and gifted students on the basis of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies on May 2, 2024 held the Republican Olympiad in Translation Studies among students of higher educational institutions of RK.

11 participants applied to participate in the Olympiad, of which 9 students received awards - these are students of 2-3 courses in the specialty - "Translation Studies ", studying Chinese in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (al-Farabi KazNU, Abylai Khan KazUIR & WL).

Having considered the completed tasks, writing an essay and defending the presentations of the participants, the competition committee decided to submit for the award:

1. Diploma of the Ministry of science and higher education of the RK, the I-st degree

1. Esentai Rahim - 2nd year student, specialty " Translation Studies " of al-Farabi KazNU, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies.

2. Kambar Ayaulym Akbergenkyna - 3rd year student, specialty " Translation Studies " of al-Farabi KazNU, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies.
