On February 20th, 2024, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty held a party called "Welcome the Spring Festival with enthusiasm" . The representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, representatives of the diplomatic service and cultural centers of various countries, representatives of large Chinese companies and enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan, students and people who have been fruitfully working in the fields of business and education, literature and culture, press and media were invited to the event. At the beginning of the evening, Ms. Jiang Wei, Consul General of the PRC in Almaty, made a speech. Starting from the festive greetings, she duly appreciated the contributions of those participating in the event to the development of relations between the two countries, and spoke about "the expansion of the global relations of both China and Kazakhstan, the fact that the strategic partnership established between the two countries is in the fundamental interest of the people of both countries."The guests watched the concert numbers prepared by the Chinese and Kazakh artists and feasted in a wonderful mood by tasting the different flavors of the cuisine of the two countries. This evening was attended by representatives of KazNU, including representatives of the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and returned with great enthusiasm.
