On November 20th, 2023, the associate professor of the Department of Chinese Studies Kerimbaev Yerzhan held an open class. The lesson was held for 2nd year masters on the subject "Transformation processes in the Eastern country of study in the 21st century". The seminar session entitled "Transformation of China's "soft power" policy" was devoted to the current issue. In the lesson, 4 graduate students considered this issue from four different angles and showed that they studied it comprehensively. Master's student Sultan Orazbayev spoke on the topic "The place of soft power in the policy of the PRC", Bapaeva Aidana "The strategy of "soft power" carried out by China today", Valibek Kamenov "Transformation of Confucius Institutes and Lu Ban workshops" and Yesentaev Bauyrzhan spoke "China's investment policy which "soft power has become a tool". The graduate students not only presented the problem, but also shared their thoughts, opinions, and expertise related to this problem. He made a summary and put forward his proposals. At the end of each topic, the teacher Kerimbaev noted the advantages and disadvantages of the master's students, and supplemented the shortcomings. The main goal of the open lesson was to teach the graduate students to search independently as researchers, to make expertise and recommendations on various issues. The open lesson was very interesting for the teachers who participated in the lesson.
