October 4, 2023，as part of the 100th anniversary of Kemel Tokayev, the outstanding writer, founder of the detective genre in the country, journalist, public figure, the Kemel Tokayev auditorium was opened at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.The director of the Department of Chinese Studies, Farida Orazakynkyzy, and the teacher, Duysenbay Kulpinay, took part in the opening of the auditorium.During the event, the book "Detective Carpenter" published on the occasion of Kemel Tokaev's 100th anniversary was presented. The auditorium named after Kemel Tokayev is decorated in a modern style.There are displays of the writer's works, articles, and publications as well as books and pictures about the author. Conditions have been created for young students to study freely.
