Hosted an Open Day

On February 16, 2023, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, hosted an Open Day for professional orientation with graduates of secondary schools and gymnasiums of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On the open day, schoolchildren visited the Department of Chinese Studies, along with other departments, and got acquainted with the department's management and teachers. They were given full information about the directions of education in the department, educational process, opportunities for education in China. At the end of the event, they watched the art of Chinese calligraphy and participated in a concert program prepared by students of the faculty. The students performed in the oriental languages they study, including Chinese, and gave our guests so much happiness and satisfaction.
