On January 15, 2021 year, the 3rd year students of the Department of Chinese Studies organized an evening "Mukagali - eternal life", which presented the life and work of Mukagali Makatayev, the iceberg of Kazakh poetry, and sang poems and songs of the poet.

             The purpose of the event is to awaken students' love for the motherland, people, language, patriotic education through the poems of the poet. In addition, the promotion of the masterpieces of the poet, who understood the power of Kazakh black poetry, to the Kazakh youth.

             The event consisted of three stages: The first stage was called "One born gatekeeper of the century." Here is a biography of the poet. The second stage was called "Heart sings" and reviewed the work of Mukagali Makatayev, showed videos and slides that provide more information about the work of the poet. The third stage "You still write a lot of songs ..." At this stage, students read poems and sang songs of the poet.

             The event allowed the participants to plunge into the high and romantic world of Makatayev's works.
