December 11, 2020 acting Associate Professor, PhD Doctor of the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi KazNU Dossymbekova Rauan Orikbaykyzy held an online lecture for 4th year students and members of the Silk Road circle on the topic "Techniques for writing a thesis." Thesis is one of the most interesting and important topics for graduate students. Dossymbekova Rauan shared her many years of experience with students. In particular, she gave useful advice on the selection of relevant literature, the correct use of the necessary sites and the systematic use of links when writing scientific articles. She also gave clear and concise answers to all questions of interest to students.

Thesis is the culmination of a student's four years of study, so this process should be approached with great responsibility. She stressed the importance of being in close contact with the curator of the diploma and seeking advice on any issue. Graduates expressed their gratitude to Rauan Dossymbekova for the lecture, which greatly facilitated the writing of the thesis in distance learning due to the current state of quarantine.
