From November 5 to November 26, 2020, Mr. Bi Qing, Professor at the Institute of Literature of the Central China Agricultural University, Director of the Center for the Spread of Chinese Culture, delivered a special online lecture course for teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The course consists of 4 lectures and is called "Methods of Interdisciplinary Research in Literature". The course, consisting of a series of lectures, covers a variety of topics, from the theory of literature to the relationship and research methods of disciplines such as culture and literature, literature and philosophy, literature and religion, literature and language. The topics covered in this course aroused the interest of teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of the Department of Sinology. At the end of each lecture, questions related to the topic were discussed and questions were answered. The teachers and scientists of the department learned a lot from this course. In the future, it is planned to conduct such courses on a regular basis.
