On September 22, 2022 PhD doctoral student of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi defended a thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Zhumagul Moldir Zhakypzhanovna on "Ecomorphological, and molecular genetic characterization of an endangered population of Rhodiola rosea L." in the specialty "6D060700 - Biology". 12 members of the dissertation council, 2 official reviewers, the domestic scientific adviser, Head of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kurmanbayeva Meruyert Sakenovna and foreign scientific adviser, Professor of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences Maria Hohn (Budapest, Hungary) took part in the defense. The defense was successful and the Dissertation Council unanimously voted to award the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) 100%. The team of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources congratulates Zhumagul M.Zh., as well as research supervisors and wishes further success.
