On February 9, 2018, students of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine attended a poetic and compositional evening dedicated to the work of the classic of Kazakh poetry-Mukagali Makatayev. The poetic-compositional evening gathered fans of Kazakh literature in the great hall of the M.O. Auezov Kazakh academic drama theater. Young talented actors of the theater performed in the creative evening. Bright civil poetry and heartfelt lyrics of Mukagali Makatayev are close to youth and remain popular and beloved for all Kazakhstan citizens.

On February 1, 2018, the presentation of the book "Ahmet Zhubanov" from the series "Onegeli omir", published by the al-Farabi publishing house, dedicated to the outstanding composer, People's Artist of Kazakhstan, academician-founder of the National Academy of Sciences of the National Academy, Doctor of Arts, Professor Ahmet Kuvanovich Zhubanov.

On December 8, 2017 within the Green Campus project by students of specialty "5B070100-Biotechnology" of department of biotechnology of faculty of Biology and biotechnology it was held an action on the subject "Protection and Prophylaxis of Diseases of Houseplants".
