The article is devoted to the work of the seminar organized by the education department of the Tyulkubas district of the Turkestan region, in which, at their invitation, the associate professor of the Department of Biotechnology of the al-Farabi KazNU A.Yerezhepov took part with a lecture on the topic "Analysis of complex topics" in biology textbooks and shared his teaching experience with young professionals.

Gaukhar KONUSPAYEVA, Professor of Food Technology at Al Farabi National University of Almaty, will be hosted at UMR Selmet at the Baillarguet premises for a 10-month stay from April 06, 2021 as a "Visiting Scientist". This stay is supported by a grant from the "Mak'it" program of MUSE. The stay will focus on “Camel milk technology and markets: a new frontier for sustainable food systems in the 21st century”. Several activities are planned which include the organization of an international workshop on the camel milk trade in October 2021. Manips on the transformation and characterization of camel milk are also scheduled in partnership with UMR Qualisud and IATE.

This year, the 30th anniversary of our independence, the 35th anniversary of the "December events", the beginning of our sovereignty, are celebrated in various parts of the country. The 60th anniversary of Zayadan Bolatkhan Kazykhanovich, a biologist-ecologist, doctor of biological sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, dean of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, who was born in the Kazakh land and planted the flag of science in his independent homeland. Bolatkhan Kazykhanuly's contribution to independence was his tireless work in science and education, administration and society since his return to the country in 1997.
