April 14, 2018 teachers and students of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine took part in the clean-up in the town of KazNU. 

The professional orientation of schoolchildren were organized on the day of celebration of  Nauryz, organized by Marketing and Recruiting Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

12/04/2018 in the SDU (Suileman Demirel University) held a movie-quiz, in which student of the first year of specialty "Biotechnology" Hegai Irina (curator-adviser Atambayeva Sh.A.)  took part, the team took the 1-st place! Congratulations!

Curator-adviser of the department of biotechnology Zhuniszhan A.Zh. together with the supervisory groups BT17-15, BT17-16 held the event on the day of language "Өзге тілдің бәрін біл өз тіліңіді құрметте".

1. Advanced training cours "Basics of Biotechnology: biotechnology of Higher plants and Algae" (within the framework of the MOC*, 72 hours)

2. Advanced training courses for preparing students for the defense scientific projects (72 hours) 

3. Courses for retraining of enterprise specialists, as well as courses "Sanitary hygienic microbiology", "Environmental monitoring", "Yeast in biotechnology", etc. (72 hours)

From April 5 to April 7 at Ataкent an exhibition titled "Education and Career" is held . The exhibition is attended not only by representatives of our university, but also foreign universities. During the event, graduates of the departments of Plant physiology and biochemistry, Microbiology  and Biotechnology came to the pavilion of KazNU and shared their impressions of the fact that they have graduated from the  department of Plant physiology, biochemistry, and Microbilogy and Biotechnology. 

Curator-Adviser of 1st year students of BT17-15 and BT17-16 Zhuniszhan A.Zh. was in the community and had a supervisory hour.

The Republican student's Subject Olympiad on the main specialties was held at the al-Farabi KazNU on March 28, 2018. In the section "5В070100-Biotechnology", the 3rd round of the Olympiad "Practical assignments", laboratory work was carried out at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology (Department of Biotechnology).
