The purpose of the event: To develop a sense of patriotism and responsibility, pride in the achievements of their country during the years of independence, a sense of duty and a desire to make a feasible contribution to its development.

Students of the 1st year of the specialty "5B070100-Biotechnology" held a solemn event dedicated to the"Independence Day". Students prepared a presentation, made a report on the Constitution of the independent Republic of Kazakhstan, the history of Kazakhstan, on the achievements of the Republic during the years of independence, on the recognition of Kazakhstan in the world, as well as on the achievements of biotechnology in Kazakhstan.

As part of the Erasmus+ Program 2014-2020, Action KA107 (International Credit Mobility), Project 2019-1-IT02-KA107-061483, an international-level competition was held in an online format with students from the Department of Biotechnology and other countries.

During the interview, of the Department of Biotechnology only 8 students passed the competition 3rd year students: Zhaksylykkyzy Dinara, Beksultan Altynay, Sailygara Aisulu, Suleimenova Dinara, and 1-year undergraduates: Odasynova Damira, Tulegen Norkhanym, Zhaksylyk Moldyr and Rymgaly Aidana. They won a grant of 4220-5920 euros to study in the Italian city of Lecce in the spring semester of 2021year.

As part of the event, a presentation of new books by Abu Nasr al-Farabi and Akzhan Mashani, published by the Turkic Academy, took place. In particular, Al-Farabi's treatise "The Book of Words Used in Logic" was for the first time fully translated from the Arabic language and presented to the reader.

The successful results of the projects of the Year of Farabi are the works of Akzhan Mashani "Alem shyrayy" and the scientific collection "Zhibek zholyndagy Urkenietter Indestigi" ("The harmony of civilizations on the Silk Road") prepared by the Academy for publication.
