First-year master's students from the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Alina Abdidin, Kuralai Eldoskyzy, Nazerke Momysheva, and Beket Bodau, presented their papers at the VII World Congress of Mathematicians of the Turkic World (TWMS Congress-2023), which took place in the city of Turkistan from September 20 to September 23, 2023, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the administration of Turkistan Region, and the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A. Yasawi (IKTU).

On September 19, at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, within the framework of the international educational project of the Erasmus program, Professor Marcin Kot from the AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow, Poland) gave a lecture.

06.09.2023 educational work with 1st year students continues at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

At the initiative of the campus administration, in order to strengthen order in dormitories and prevent offenses, an organizational meeting with first-year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was held in the U.Dzholdasbekov Red Hall. 

The teaching staff of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Doszhan N., Lyazat Zh., Sakhaeva A., Nogaibayeva M. completed a scientific internship at the Berlin Technical University (Berlin, Germany) within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, GEOCLIC project in the period of 20.08.2023 – 26.08.2023.

In honor of the Day of Knowledge in the "Red Hall" of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics named after U.Zholdasbekov, a leadership lecture by the Dean of the Faculty U.Abdibekov was organized for 1st year students. 

Postdoc, Acting Professor of the Department of Mechanics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD Yerzhan Belyayev participated in the 3rd Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Conference and 9th V4 (Joint Czech-Hungarian-Polish-Slovakian) Thermoanalytical Conference (https://akcongress.com/jtacc/) with a presentation at topic "Thermal performance analysis of a heat pump assisted regenerative solar still". 

09.06.2023 Vice-Rector of Harbin Polytechnic University from China Zheng Lian, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Experts of the Department of International Cooperation Mei Wenzhang, Director of the Department of International Relations Xiong Jian and Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics Yuming Xing visited the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

07.06.2023 at the Nazarbayev University, Astana, the France-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the first French-Kazakhstan forum, the day of decarbonization.
