At the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of KazNU with the support of the Akimat of Almaty, a motivational training “Meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs” was held.

  On the basis of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, chaired by academician G.M. Mutanov from 31 August to 4 September 2019 hosted the International Scientific Conference "Inverse Problems in Finance, Economics and Life Sciences".

Under the ERASMUS+ program, from April 1 to April 4, 2019, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited Professor Dr. Edgar Sokolovskij and Dr. Jonas Matijošius from Vilnius Technical University Gediminas, Lithuania.

On the eve of the women's holiday, an open curatorial hour was held on the theme of "Сыйынар ем Ана деген тәңірге" with the participation of 2nd year students of the department of mechanics under the guidance of the curator - advisor Kusembaeva Kuanysh.

Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became winners of the academic mobility competition for the fall semester of the 2019–2020 school year, announced by the MES RK. 

April 13 at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated Nauryz. Each faculty put its own yurt. The Yurt of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was named «MATEMATIKTER AÝYLY».

Master students of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (24 Master students in total) have completed overseas internships at the Technical University of Berlin (Berlin, Germany) under the International Space School program.

According to the curriculum of the specialty "5В060300-Mechanics" of the Department of Mechanics, in the eighth semester, 25 students-interns of the Department of Mechanics underwent teaching practice in the specialized physical-mathematical lyceum №39 named after S.А.Hodzhikov, Almaty.
