The organization and management of the educational process with the informatization of the education system is one of the main tasks for the teaching staff of modern universities. To ensure quality realization of distance education we must, above all, provide educational establishments with information technology tools, to develop didactic tools of distance education and electronic educational-methodical complexes by teachers, to use effective Internet resources with regard to the communication tools and opportunities of students. Consequently, the professorial teaching staff, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University carry out the educational process through virtual (synchronous or asynchronous) connectivity. Since distance education for the staff of KazNU is one of the points of the traditional education system, which has been developing for a long time, and despite the emergency situation in the country, it has not had a negative impact on the process of constant education of the university. Conversely, the University creates great opportunities for improving projects that implemented with the usage of information technologies, and their comprehensive implementation in practice. One of them is the work on creating mass open online courses (MOOC) (http://open.kaznu.kz/). Moreover, without any restrictions students have the opportunity to listen and discuss online lectures with foreign scientists via the Internet. Everyone who sets a goal to train competitive specialists (teacher, student, etc.), and also educational institutions should be ready for innovation. The main goal is aspiration for quality education by saving time, effectively using modern information technologies in the preparation of future specialists, in parallel with increasing the trust in the professorial teaching staff (www.kaznu.kz).
