The course of lectures on "Theory and practice of translation"
The course of lectures on "Theory and practice of translation" is devoted to the students, who study in the educational programmes "6B02301 Foreign Philology (oriental languages)" and "6В02302Translation Studies" of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The course of lectures is written in Turkish and consists of 10 lectures. The course covers theoretical and practical problems of translation such as theoretical foundations of translation studies, the translation process, translation strategies, the role of translation in intercultural relations, literary translation problems, etc.
