Summer school with participation of international students

The summer school organized by the Turksoy Department of the Faculty of Oriental

Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for students of the Istanbul University of the Republic of Turkiye from April 14 to 20, 2023 on the topic "Nomadic civilization and its place in world history" will be held online.

The purpose of the summer school is to reveal the spiritual, ethnic, religious and cultural traditions of nomads, their role of continuity between historical epochs, their place in the world

stories. This event is a continuation of the joint research work of Kazakhstan and Turkiye in the field of education and science. The summer school will be attended by 12 international students. Lectures are held in Turkish by teachers of Al-Farabi KazNU and the teachers of the department on the following topics: "The influence of the Turkic nomadic civilization on the culture of the East", "New directions of the study of nomadic civilization in Kazakhstan", "Cradle in the Turkic culture", "Literary relics of the Jochi Ulus in Desht Kipchak steppe (XIII-XV centuries)" and "Kazakh national values: sacred places". At the end of the course, students and teachers will receive a certificate.
