KALTAEV AIDARKHAN ZHUSIPBEKOVICH

Kaltaev Aidarkhan

Professor of the Department of Mechanics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, member of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, corresponding member of the International Engineering Academy.

 He was born on December 18, 1950 in the village of AkmayaShieli district, Kyzylorda region (22nd district) in the family of a railway station attendant.

 

  • Education

In 1973 he graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of S. M. Kirov Kazakh State University with a degree in Mechanics.

1975-1978 - postgraduate student of S. M. Kirov KazNU, specialty "mechanics".

In 1984 he defended his PhD thesis, in 1999 - his doctoral dissertation.

  • Work experience

From 1973 to 1975 he served in the Soviet Army as a platoon commander with the rank of lieutenant.

From 1975 to 2000 he worked at kaznu as a graduate student, engineer, researcher, senior lecturer, senior researcher, associate professor.

From 2001 to 2008 -Head of the Department of Mechanics of Kaznu.

Since 2008 -Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of KazNU.

Coordinator of the Kazakh-French Center for joint training of masters and doctors in Geoenergy.

  • State, government and other awards

Two-time winner of the competition "The best teacher of Kazakhstan University" in 2005 and 2011.

In 2008, he was awarded the medals "10 years of Astana" and "25 years of Independence of Kazakhstan".

2006 Medal of the National Engineering Academy named after U. Zholdasbekov of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

2009 badge for merits in the development of science in the Republic of Kazakhstan, MES RK

  • Grants;

In 1995-2000, using a grant from the German Ministry of Science and Technology, he conducted more than 12 months of research on the distribution of combustion chambers at Heidelberg University;

In 1997, using a grant from the Government of Japan, Nagoya University of Japan conducted scientific research for 10 months on the spread of flame in pipes and its penetration into an explosion.

  • Scientific activity  

The direction of scientific activity is the mechanics of liquids and gases, physical and chemical hydrogas dynamics.

He is a member of the editorial board of the journal "archives of Mining Sciences" of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Reviewer of the journals of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA Journal), "Computational Fluid Mechanics Engineering Applications", published in Hong Kong.

In 2009, 2011 and 2012 he gave a series of lectures on modeling of jet streams, including mineral extraction by underground leaching, at the Polish University of Science and Technology in Krakow, in 2011, 2012 -at the Laurent University of France.

In 2006, at the 44th Japanese Symposium, in 2011, at the 2nd seminar, he participated in the detonation engines of Peking University, was invited, made a presentation.

Supervisor of one PhD and 5 Ph.D. papers in mechanics and mathematics and 4 Ph.D. students in mechanics.

  • Management of scientific projects and programs

Over the past ten years, he has been or is the scientific supervisor of more than 10 international and republican funded projects, including projects for the extraction of minerals by underground leaching and their extraction from solution.
