Gaukhar KONUSPAYEVA, Professor of Food Technology at Al Farabi National University of Almaty, will be hosted at UMR Selmet at the Baillarguet premises for a 10-month stay from April 06, 2021 as a "Visiting Scientist". This stay is supported by a grant from the "Mak'it" program of MUSE. The stay will focus on “Camel milk technology and markets: a new frontier for sustainable food systems in the 21st century”. Several activities are planned which include the organization of an international workshop on the camel milk trade in October 2021. Manips on the transformation and characterization of camel milk are also scheduled in partnership with UMR Qualisud and IATE.
