A round table entitled "National Color in Literary Art Translation" was held On December 13, 2023, the Department of Chinese Studies held a round table "National Color in Literary Art Translation" for the purpose of developing domestic literary translation and high-quality training of translation specialists. The round table was attended by teachers and students of the Department of Chinese Studies. At the round table, the writer, translator Nurkhalyk Abdyrakyn made a presentation on the topic of "translating the national color" in literary translation. In addition, translator Ardak Kaliolla gave a presentation on the topic "Translation and Translator", scientist Daulet Fatimabibi "Cultural aspects in artistic translation", senior lecturer of Chinese studies department Koybakova Aizhan on "Problems of transliteration and transcription of Chinese onomastic names". The participants of the round table also shared their thoughts on the topics and heated up the round table.
