On November 6th , 2023, under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of the Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region, a song, dance, poetry and song entitled an art project "Xinjiang is a wonderful place" was held in the "Abay State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater" in our beautiful city in the south of the country , Almaty.At the event, presented the sights and cultural heritage of Xinjiang, regional cultural features. Also, national arts of ethnic nations living in Xinjiang were shown.The event was attended by the head of the Department of Chinese Studies, Farida Orazakynkyny, teachers of the department and 2nd year students.
