On October 20th , 2023, director of the Kazakhstan Research Center of the Northwestern University of Science and Technology of the PRC, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Wei Feng visited the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and met with the staff of the department. The meeting was attended by the deputy dean of the faculty for scientific and innovative work and international relations Zhakybaeva Saltanat Toleukovyna, the head of the department Orazakynkyvna Farida and the teachers of the department, as well as students and graduate students.
