On April 18, 2023, the 14th regular international "Chinese Language Day" event was organized by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty and conducted by the International Kazakh-Chinese Language College.  The event held at the International Kazakh-Chinese Language College started with a round table.  Heads of educational institutions and various institutions teaching Chinese language in Almaty and teachers of Chinese language gathered at the table.  The event was attended by Professor Nabizhan Mukamethanuly from the Department of Chinese Studies, Head of the Department Kerimbayev E.A., Associate Professor of the Department, Chairman of the Association of Chinese Studies Dauen D.B.  involved.  After the congratulatory speech of Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty Mrs. Zhong Hua and Director of the International Kazakh-Chinese Language College Talgat Mamyrovich, the teachers expressed various thoughts and opinions about the situation and problems of Chinese language teaching in our country.  They agreed to jointly solve some of the problems raised in the future and to further develop and promote Chinese language teaching in the country.  The end of the meeting was followed by an exhibition and master class of traditional Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting art.  Talented students of the International Kazakh-Chinese Language College performed a small concert program for the guests.
