"Consul Hour" was held

On March 13, 2023, "Consul Hour" was held as part of the "Week of Chinese Studies" organized by the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies. Ms. Jiang Wei, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, came by special invitation and gave a lecture on the topic "The current state and future of relations between Kazakhstan and the China". The teaching staff and students participated in the lecture. Students met with the Consul General and received clear answers to their questions about China, education in the PRC and international relations between Kazakhstan and China. After lecture, the delegation from the consulate of the PRC visited the faculty and got acquainted with the situation of faculty. The dean of the faculty N.B.Em and the head of the Department of Chinese Studies E.A.Kerimbaev introduced the faculty to the guests and discussed in detail the development of cooperation between the two institutions.
